Other World Computing (OWC) has announced some additions to and price cuts for its Mercury Extreme G4 processor upgrades. The new cards are being offered at 933 MHz, replacing an earlier model, a cheaper price on a 1.0 GHz upgrade, and a new 1.4 GHz model. A 1.5 GHz model was previously announced.
The upgrades come with a pre-assembled fan and heatsink, and OWC described them as being a simple replacement for existing Apple and after-market G4 processors.

OWC includes a 3-year warranty on the cards, and they are supported by both Mac OS 9.1 (and higher) and Mac OS X 10.0.4 (and higher).
