· by · News

Microsoft released the Microsoft Office 2004 11.3.8 update Tuesday afternoon to address security related issues in the office suite for the Mac. The update focuses on a Word 2004-based vulnerability that could allow an attacker to overwrite your Macis memory with malicious code.

The update requires Microsoft Office 2004 Standard, Professional, or the Student and Teacher edition, and Mac OS X 10.2.8 or higher. The update is free for Office 2004 users, and is available via the Office update feature, or as a download at the Microsoft mactopia Web site.
