Offline Web Tool Now Runs Under OS X

Chaotic Software has announced an update to their offline Web page viewing program, Web Devil. Version 5.1 allows users to save entire Web pages for offline viewing, including images, sounds, movies, and JavaScript actions. The new version is also fully Carbonized and thus add the ability to run "natively" under OS X. According to Chaotic Software:

Web Devil 5.1 change history:

  • Carbonized to run natively on Mac OS X. A single application runs on both classic Mac OS and Mac OS X.
  • Changed user interface to better accommodate Aqua.
  • Auto-scroll URL list when already scrolled to the bottom.

Web Devil is a tool for downloading web sites for offline browsing,extracting web site images, backgrounds, HTML, JavaScript, Shockwave, etc.,helping to maintain web sites for content authors, and more. It also hasfiltering capabilities, so it only downloads what you want, and has a simpleto use interface. Just enter a URL and it downloads with a single click.
