Old Jewel Releases Maintenance Update For Painter's Picker

Old Jewel Software has released an update for Painteris Picker, bringing it to version 1.1.3. Painteris Picker is a utility designed to expand OS Xis standard color picking panel. The update fixes a few bug issues. According to Old Jewel Software:

Old Jewel Software is proud to announce the release of version 1.1.3 of Painteris Picker, its extension to Mac OS Xis color picker panel.

Painteris Picker is an extension to the color picker panel in Mac OS X. It adds the ability to choose related colors, such as complementary colors, analogous colors, etc. directly within the color picker. It also adds more precise controls for choosing saturation, hue angle, and brightness, and provides the ability to choose colors in the CMYK color space while using the popular HSB-style controls.

Changes in version 1.1.3 include:

  • The color wheel and swatch will now respond to clicks even if the color panel was not the front window
  • Painteris Picker was causing a crash in BBEdit that we have been unable to track. Painteris Picker no longer loads in BBEdit, so at least it will no longer cause a crash
  • Fixed a typo in the register sheet

You can find more information about the Painteris Picker update at the Old Jewel Software Web site. Painteris Picker is available for US$13.85.
