OmniWeb 4.5 Features Improved Internet Standard Support

The Omni Group has released an update for OmniWeb, bringing it to version 4.5. OmniWeb is a Cocoa based Web browser designed for OS X. The latest update features improved compatibility and other bug fixes and enhancements. According to The Omni Group:

The Omni Group today released the final version of OmniWeb 4.5, offering greatly improved standards support to the award-winning browser.

OmniWeb 4.5 incorporates the open source WebCore and JavaScriptCore frameworks from Apple Computer Inc., which brings renewed support for the latest Internet standards like CSS, HTML, XHTML, and JavaScript to the Mac OS X browser.

In addition to greater compatibility, OmniWeb 4.5 also contains many enhancements and fixes a number of bugs over previous versions. Improvements have been made to bookmarks, AutoFill, plug-ins, history indexing, and more.
