Onset Adds Satellite Communication to Weather Sensors

Onset Computer Corporation announced the immediate availability of the SolarStream Satellite on Monday. The SolarStream Satellite is a satellite-based wireless transceiver for Mac-compatible HOBO weather stations. The transceivers work everywhere the ORBCOMM satellite network is available. They connect to HOBO weather stations, and let you remotely monitor sensor readings as well as check the stationis operating status. The SolarStream Satellite is available on the Upward Innovations Web site, and is priced at US$979.
