OpenGL Shading Language Seminars Scheduled For Late March/April

LightWork Design and 3Dlabs, Inc. have announced upcoming seminars for 3D animators. The OpenGL® Shading Language seminars, helmed by Randi Rost, will cover emerging techniques using OpenGL for 3D shading. According to 3Dlabs, Inc:

3Dlabs Inc., Ltd., a leading innovator in professional visual processing, today announced the industry’s first OpenGL® Shading Language seminars, to take place in the United Kingdom, Germany, USA and Canada.

The seminars provide developers with real-world insights and techniques to help maximize their use of shaders within the OpenGL Shading Language to enhance the levels of realism possible in next-generation 3D applications. 3Dlabs is a wholly owned subsidiary of Creative Technology Ltd.

The seminars will be conducted by Randi Rost, author of the book, OpenGL Shading Language book. Mr. Rost is a core contributor to the development of the OpenGL Shading Language and the OpenGL API that supports it. He has participated in the OpenGL Architecture Review Board (ARB) for almost fifteen years, director of developer relations at 3Dlabs and brings immense expertise to the subject of OpenGL and shader programming.
