OpenOSX Debuts New Office

OpenOSX today announced Office 1.5 for Mac OS X, an easy-to-use solution for installing, configuring, and using the open source GNOME Office software on Mac OS X.

OpenOSXis Office release includes the necessary support libraries required to run GNOME Office under Mac OS X, as well as a single-click installer and Mac OS X interface. The Microsoft Office-compatible software includes Gnumeric, an Excel clone; AbiWord, a word processor; SodiPodi, a vector image manipulation program; and Diagram, a flexible flowchart application.

OpenOSX Office 1.5 sells for $30 as a download or $40 on CD. Bundles are available with Gimp, OpenWeb, and Tintel starting at an additional $10.
