Parallels Offers Rebate on Desktop 3.0 Premium

Parallels is offering a US$15 rebate on its Desktop 3.0 Premium Edition until March 31st. The full premium package includes Parallels Desktop 3.0 plus the Kaspersky Internet Security for Windows, Acronis Disk Director Suite, and Acronis Image Home.

Parallels Desktop 3.0, for US$79.99, already includes the Coherence, SmartSelect, Parallels Explorer and Snapshot Manager. The Premium Edition, bundled with US$175 of additional software normally sells for US$99.99. With the recently announced rebate, the total package price for the Premium Edition becomes $84.99.

Parallels Dekstop 3 is a virtualization system that allows Mac OS X users to run guest OSes, co-resident, such as Windows XP, Windows Vista, Sun Solaris and various flavors of Linux such as Fedora and Ubuntu. An Intel Mac is required.

The rebate offer expires on March 31st.
