Pariahware Inc. announced Monday the release of Days Away v1.4, a Mac OS X application that periodically reminds the user of upcoming events by discreetly fading in to focus, pausing to be read, and then discreetly fading back out.
The product works by adding a date and event to a calendar. Periodically, Days Away will fade into view so the user can see how many "Days Away" the important date is. A user can use the iDays Awayi feature to be reminded of due dates, birthdays, anniversaries, or any other special occasions.
Version 1.4 adds Mac OS X Tiger compatibility, online help, an update to the Events List, and the ability to remove events from a complete list by pressing the delete or backspace keys.
Days Away is shareware and retails for US$12.00. A 7-day trial period is included.
