The grand opening of Appleis new retail stores at Park Meadows in Littleton, Colorado, and The Galleria in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, will be on Saturday, April 21. The Park Meadows store opening will is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and The Galleria opening will be at 10:00 a.m. Apple is planning a week long series of events to celebrate the Grand Openings along with free training events and free prizes including T-shirts for the first 1000 visitors.
One lucky winner will walk away with a "Digital Lifestyle Collection" grand prize valued at US$2573 from each store opening, including a black 13-inch 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo MacBook, a one-year membership to ProCare, an iPod nano, an iPod Hi-Fi, iWork, a one-year membership to .Mac, and an AppleCare Protection Plan for their MacBook. Ten First Prize winners each will receive a one-year ProCare membership.
These openings will mark the fifth Apple Store for Colorado, and the 13th for Florida.
