PasswordWallet Gets A Beefy Update

Selznick Scientific Software, LLC has released an update for PasswordWallet, bringing it to version 2.6. PasswordWallet is a storage app designed to hold usernames, passwords, and PINs in one complete package. The new version has several new features and performance enhancements. According to Selznick Scientific Software:

Selznick Scientific Software, LLC is very pleased to announce an update for PasswordWallet(tm) for MacOS to version 2.6. This version still syncs great with the PalmOS version!

Weive added lots of new features to PasswordWallet(tm) 2.6. We were going to save many of these features for 3.0, but we decided to bring them to you as part of this free update instead.

New Features:

  • AutoTyping now works in MacOS X in both Native and Classic applications
  • Added preference to draw digits in passwords with a highlight color to help distinguish them from other characters
  • If either the username or password fields are empty, AutoTyping will not type leading or trailing tab character
  • Added "Shortcuts Bar" to every row
  • Added preference to disable Shortcuts Bar
  • Added beautiful 3-D look to rows (and a preference to turn it off)
  • New icon for MacOS X, complete with larger sizes
  • Command-Semicolon now works to bring up preferences panel in MacOS X
  • Added "Reveal in Finder" menu item
  • Added preference to Collapse All when document opens
  • Moved recordis "Modified Time" stamp down into expanded row view
  • PasswordWallet will now be able to find your default file even if you rename it and move it anywhere on your disk
  • Added preference to save old password in notes when generating a new password.
  • Revert to bullets now works after documents are opened or the preferences change
  • [Conduit] Clarified error messages
  • [Conduit] The conduit now uses an alias to keep track of the target file for synchronization
  • [Conduit] The option to "View Log" will no longer be presented if the conduit preferences are set to "Do Nothing"
