PhotoVu on Wednesday added a new 19-inch model to its line of LCD picture frames that draw their images from a computer. While the company already offers a 19-inch picture frame for US$1,199, the new version, which sells for $999, doesnit have as wide of a viewing angle and has a lower contrast ratio. The company has noted that its 17-inch frame is now $799.
PhotoVu also announced that all of its picture frames support the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop Elements and iPhoto -- they can draw images from those applications or from a standalone storage device plugged into their USB ports. The picture frames can be added to a home network wirelessly or via Ethernet.
