ergonis software has released an update for PopChar X, bringing it to version 2.1.1. PopChar X is a keyboard utility designed for simplifying difficult keyboard character combinations. The maintenance update features bug fixes and optimizations for Panther. According to ergonis software:
ergonis software today announced the immediate availability of PopChar X 2.1.1, the Mac OS X sibling of the highly acclaimed PopChar Pro.
It installs a menu that shows all characters available in the current font. Any character can be inserted in the current document by simply selecting it from the menu. PopChar X is distributed by ergonis software as part of their macility software collection.
The new version is a maintenance update which fixes some minor issues. Besides that, the new version is also smaller and faster, and it contains some modifications to prepare for compatibility with the soon-to-come Mac OS X 10.3 ("Panther").
