PowerBook Survives Sub-Zero Temps, Records Trip Across Antarctic

· by Kyle D\'Addario · News

CNN is reporting that two women successfully journeyed across the Antarctic, and had a PowerBook in tow the entire time to document their travels. Ann Bancroft and Liv Arnesen spent over 90 days on skis working their way across the land mass before being airlifted out.

While that is an incredible feet, Mac users will be interested to hear that the PowerBook was used to document their journey, and remained in fully functioning order the entire time. According to CNN:

Despite extensive planning, the trip contained surprises. One pleasant one was that the Apple Power Books they used to chronicle their adventure worked at 34 degrees below zero.
