VouJou Software has released a preview verson of iNotePad 2.0. iNotePad is designed to have more features than the Apple NotePad, but with the same simplicity. The preview version features iPod exporting and has been rewritten in Cocoa. According to VouJou Software:
VouJou Software is pleased to announce the release today of a final version of iNotePad 1.6.1, a replacement for Appleis NotePad.
iNotePad is the definitive alternative to Appleis NotePad. It has much more features but it keeps the simplicity and ease of use of Appleis Note Pad. It can store styled text notes, save them as text file or clipping, print them,… It can encrypt any note, and use alarm/reminder.
New in this version:
- rewritten from scratch with Cocoa
- export to iPod
- locked folders
- notes can include pictures
- tabs, spellchecker, links,...
- missing features (iPublish, encryption, ...) will be available soon
