Renewed Vision on Wednesday released ProVideoPlayer, a video mixing system that features real-time video playback, with effects, across multiple networked computers, enabling multi-screen playback. The software manages video and audio clip libraries and allows users to employ cross-dissolves, cross-fading audio, and customizable effects.
ProVideoPlayer also features support for high- or standard-definition video, manual or automatic transitions, on-the-fly hue, contrast, and playback speed changes, and grid mapping and tiling. The application is a Universal Binary that requires a G4, G5 or Intel processor, 512MB RAM (1GB recommended), and a Mac with dual display screen-spanning capability. Pricing starts at US$499.
