Proteron Bumps LiteSwitch X to Version 2

T he good folks at Proteron have updated LiteSwitch X to version 2.0. LiteSwitch X is an application switcher for Mac OS X that allows for easier and more intuitive application switching than relying on the Dock alone, and the new version brings new features to the app. From Proteron:

Proteron today announced the release of LiteSwitch X 2.0, a major new version of the popular application switcher for Mac OS X. Since its release just one year ago, LiteSwitch X has become the most popular alternative to the Dock for many users. It has been hailed as an elegant utility that brings Apple-Tab switching to Mac OS X with powerful added features and a stylish look. An unlimited 30-day trial is available from the LiteSwitch X Web site.

Version 2.0 allows users to exclude applications from the switcher so that programs not directly involved with user interaction do not slow down active switching. "We are thrilled that we have been able to add the most requested features without compromising the productis simplicity or elegance," said Sam Caughron, Proteron co-founder. The update also offers more advanced options including allowing the Tilde key to move the switcher in reverse, and an option not to gray out icons of hidden applications.

The 2.0 update is free to registered users, and the full version is priced at US$14.95, with a 3-pack license available for US$24.95. You can find more information on LiteSwitch X at Proteronis Web site.
