Prudential Says That Apple May Miss Top Line Earnings

· by · Apple Stock Watch

In a terse report, TheStreet.com is reporting that Kimberly Alexy of Prudential Securities has issued slightly negative comments about Apple.

Prudential Securities analyst Kimberly Alexy lowered her revenue and earnings estimates for Compaq, and she said Apple could possibly miss its top-line forecast for the current quarter.

Top-line forecast refers to total revenues forecast (so called because it appears at the top of an income statement). Apple is currently expected to report revenues of US$1.6 billion for the quarter. There is no other information on Ms. Alexyis comments currently available. If any Observers have additional info on this, please post it in the comments below, or head to the Apple Finance Boards.
