Pubblog Introduces MailSteward Pro

Pubblog announced the immediate availability of MailSteward Pro on Friday. The new version uses a MySQL database server for archiving and managing email messages instead of the embedded SQLite database engine used in the standard version of MailSteward.

Like MailSteward, MailSteward Pro archives and backs up email messages in a relational database that allows users to sort, search, and tag messages. It is Universal Binary, allowing it to run natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs, works with POP and IMAP accounts, and supports Appleis Mail application, Eudora, Microsoft Entourage, and most other email apps that can export mbox files.

MailSteward Pro is available for download at the Pubblog Web site, and is priced at US$99.95. Upgrades from MailSteward cost $49.95.
