Carrot Software has released an update for Shapes II, bringing it to version 1.1. Shapes is a strategic puzzle game for the Mac. The new version has performance improvements and bug fixes. According to Carrot Software:

Carrot Software is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the puzzle game Shapes II. This update, which brings the game to version 1.1, includes several bug fixes, performance improvements, and interface enhancements.

Shapes is the next generation puzzle game. It is a hybrid of a Rubic cube, Tetris, and Candy Crisis, but with many more unique challenges that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Combined with gorgeous 16-bit graphics and 4 awesome musical tracks by Jens Nilsson (of Nanosaur and Captain Bumper fame) the replay value is amazing.

You can find more information about the Shapes update at the Carrot Software Web site. Shapes II is available for US$10.00.
