Enthusiast Web site Fruitz of Dojo has released version 1.1 of the original Quake, a Universal Binary that enables the game to run on Macs with Intel processors. It also includes several performance improvements and bug fixes. The 3.6MB download is free, although it requires the full or shareware version of Quake. Thanks to Inside Mac Games for the link.
