Quark announced the immediate availability of QuarkXPress 7.2 on Thursday. The updated version of the professional page layout application adds support for Kodakis new color management module with black point compensation, supports creating Job Jacket rules in the Layout Evaluation dialog, creating and editing output specifications in the Output Job dialog, creating new layout specifications from the Layout menu, and lets users specify resolutions for vector graphics, drop shadows and blends. It also adds Czech, Greek, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), and Turkish language support.
QuarkXPress 7.2 is priced at US$749. The update is free for registered QuarkXPress 7 users.
