Quark Offers Early Glimpse at XPress 7

QuarkXPress 7 will be the "most significant upgrade in the productis history," Quark executives said at the TypoTechnica 2005 conference Thursday.

Publish offers details from the first look of QuarkXPress 7, which will include extensive support for Unicode and OpenType fonts.

QuarkXPress 7 is "the biggest rewrite weive ever done, and the most significant upgrade weive ever done," Gavin Drake, Quarkis UK director of market, said. To accommodate the new support for Unicode and OpenType, Quark has done significant work rewriting its core text engine to make it easier to add new features.
