QuickerTek Intros Apple Juicz for MacBook Pro

QuickerTek announced the immediate availability of Apple Juicz for the MacBook and 15-inch MacBook Pro on Monday. The solar charger system is portable and can charge and power a laptop at the same time.

The charging system generates 55 Watts and includes flexible light weight solar panels, offers 60 x 42-inches of surface space, folds to 10.5 x 9.3-inches for travel, and includes an Element carrying bag.

The solar charger also requires a specially-modified power adapter. QuickerTek offers the adapters for US$100, or will upgrade user-supplied adapters for $25.

Apple Juicz for the MacBook and 15-inch MacBook Pro is priced at US$1,000 and is available at the QuickerTek Web site.
