Quickie Web Album Update

LAJ Design has released an update for Quickie Web Albums, bringing it to version 1.6. Quickie Web Albums is an app designed for formatting pictures to HTML for the creation of photo albums. The new version has bug fixes and additional features. According to LAJ Design:

Quickly create custom web photo albums with tons of options (now with support for 10.1).

Quickie Web Albums gives the ability to order the images, put a description for each image, and many other options. Fully customize the output from the html font, size, alignment, format to the thumbnail size (make them all the same size). Registered users get the ability to use a custom template, save configuration, save the image list, and the option of displaying or not displaying the created with quickie logo at the bottom of each page.

Features added in version 1.6:

  • Web Albums are now CD compliant
  • Option for title on individual pages to be image name
  • Choose the html files extension (.html, .htm, .asp, .php)
  • Choose the html files creator (mac only)
  • Prompt to save album on create for user with option to skip
  • Installer added for Windows Version
  • Auto setting for frames
  • More help text for frames options
  • Changed the number of thumbnails per row from 5 to 15
  • Changed Images folder to images folder for FrontPage acceptance
  • Fixed bug where default value on frames was 20 and not 20%
  • Fixed a bug in horz frames with where the description is going (to the right instead of below)
  • Fixed a bug in vert frames with where the last thumbnails description is going (to the right instead of below)
  • Fixed how templates work with frames (you must now set the background color to the same as the template body color)
  • Fixed a bug in the restore defaults
  • Fixed a bug in with special characters. You can now use special characters in file names
  • Fixed standard Thumbnail and set for portrait it to 160x120. Now it will sense the difference between portrait and landscape images
  • Removed the + folder button leaving one common import route
  • Removed the set default import options since they are on the new import window at the bottom
