REALbasic 2006 Release 4 Gets Intel Mac Support

REAL Software announced the immediate availability of REALbasic 2006 Release 4 on Wednesday. The new version of the application development environment is Universal Binary, allowing it to run natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs, and can compile applications in Universal Binary format. It also supports building applications that use file sizes larger than 2GB, extended 64-bit integers, currency datatypes, designing cross platform application tool bars, and more.

REALbasic 2006 release 4 is priced starting at US$99, and is a free upgrade for users with a current update plan.
