RNSoft announced the immediate availability of version 2 of its RSS DreamFeeder software on Tuesday. The new version includes support for podcasts, photocasts, documentcasts, and videocasts. It also supports subtitles, keywords, categories, the ability to directly edit a feed, a direct import of HTML files, and free-form editing. A new Content Sampler is used to identify content for extraction.
RSS DreamFeeder is designed to allow the direct creation and editing of RSS Feeds within Dreamweaver without having to know RSS or XML codes.
According to Ron Northrip, "RSS DreamFeeder also includes an integrated search engine that looks through your website for new and updated content to include in your RSS feed. When you process your feed, any new or updated content will be extracted from your HTML or XHTML pages in the method that you specify, and listed as entries within your RSS file."
Version 2 is available immediately and priced at $US49.00 for a single Website or $79.00 for an unlimited edition. Upgrades to version 2 are US$19.00 and $49.00 respectively.
