Revolution Updated With Application Builder

Runtime Revolution has released an update for Revolution, bringing it to version 2.2. Revolution is a cross-platform software development tool designed for creating applications for multiple platform deployment. The latest release features improved OS X support and a new application builder. According to Runtime Revolution:

Runtime Revolution today announced the release of Revolution 2.2, the latest update to the user-centric multi-platform development tool for Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Unix.

Revolution 2.2 includes improvements in the following areas:

  • Improved appearance on Mac OS X including metal groups and the Panther tab style
  • New standalone application builder
  • Improvements to the database linked controls
  • Additions to the Transcript programming language
