· by Brad Gibson · News

RipDigital, a CD-to-iPod conversion service, announced Tuesday customers can now buy a 20 gigabyte Apple iPod directly from the company and have their entire music library of up to 200 compact discs pre-loaded on the portable music device.

The iPod + RipDigital package retails for US$499.

In addition, the company is also offering RipTide i05 -- the same package together with JBLs On Stage portable speaker system for $599.

RipDigital originated the CD conversion service in 2002.
