CHICAGO -- RoboCatalog announced during Graph Expo in Chicago that its RoboCatalog Suite is gaining support for Quarkis professional page layout application, QuarkXPress 7. RoboCatalog Suite manages and automates the production of data-driven graphically complex publications. Its SQL database system tracks pictures and metadata, and builds documents in Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress documents from the database records.
The company also announced its new RoboCatalog OnDemand system. RoboCatalog OnDemand lets graphic arts agencies and commercial print providers offer their clients a Web-based catalog production system. Since clients donit need any special applications, they can take advantage of RoboCatalog OnDemand to set up their publications from any computer with an Internet connection and a Web browser.
