Chronos LC has released an update for SOHO Business Cards, bringing it to 1.0.1. SOHO Business Cards is a utility for designing and printing personal business cards. The update features a PDF save command and improved design performance. According to Chronos LC:

Chronos LC today announced the release of SOHO Business Cards version 1.0.1, the fastest and easiest way to create stunning business cards on Mac OS X.

Three new features have been added to SOHO Business Cards in version 1.0.1.

First, in order to make it more convenient to share business card designs with others or easily submit designs to print bureaus, a "Save As PDF" command was added to the File menu. Second, images placed on a design may now be flipped horizontally and vertically. Third, rotated images can now have shadows.

Three improvements have been made to existing features in version 1.0.1.

First, the vertical ruler is now accurate even when the view is zoomed. Second, phone field formatting has been improved so that leading i(i and i[i characters appear in the formatted phone number.

Third, high-resolution output of transparent, tinted or shadowed images and shapes has been improved when running under Mac OS 10.2 ("Jaguar"). Previously, such images and shapes sometimes appeared as block boxes under Jaguar.

You can find more information about the SOHO Business Cards update at the Chronos LC Web site. The SOHO Business Cards update is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$29.99.
