SWSoft Teams with Intel for New Virtualization Products

Parallels maker SWSoft announced on Monday that it is teaming with Intel to develop higher performance operating system virtualization products. The collaboration will be based around Intelis vProT processor technology.

The companies plan to develop virtualization products that offer higher levels of security, easy administration, and better performance in desktop and server systems. SWSoft will be showing off what has come out of the early phases of development at the Intel Developer Forum this week in San Francisco.

The companies have not stated when to expect commercially available products based on the collaboration.
