Savant Announces Open Developer Program

Savant Systems announced its new Savant Open Developer Alliance program on Tuesday. The program was introduced at Appleis World Wide Developer Conference and is now open to all Mac OS X developers interested in coding Automator Actions for the Savant home automation platform.

The Alliance program includes access to Savant Systemis RacePoint Blueprint graphical coding environment that takes advantage of Quartz Composer and Automator to control the companyis home automation systems. It also lets developers manage Savant Systemis ROSIE controllers like in-wall touch panels, wireless touch panels, and the ROSIE Coffee Table Touchpanel, and control devices via an iPhone and iPod touch interface.

Interested developers can download the Savant Open Developer Alliance application in PDF format at the Savant Systems Web site.
