Screen Capture Utility Plays Nice With E-mail Clients

· by Kyle D\'Addario · News

St. Clair Software has updated their wonderfully powerful screen capture utility, Screen Catcher, to version 2.3. Screen Catcher allows users to not only take images of a current screen, but the utility automatically scrolls through windows to capture all of the contents in a given window. The new version adds the ability to automatically attach screen images to e-mail messages. According to St. Clair Software:

St. Clair Software announced today that version 2.3 of Screen Catcher, their popular screen capture utility, is now available.

Screen Catcher 2.3 now integrates with major email applications such as Eudora Pro, PowerMail, Mailsmith, Emailer, and Outlook Express, allowing users to quickly send snapshots as email attachments. This release also corrects several compatibility problems, including fixing a conflict with Chronos StickyBrain and improving overall performance.

Screen Catcher is a scriptable screen capture utility that includes a unique Catch-All feature which auto-scrolls windows to capture entire documents. This capability, combined with flexible scaling, color palette control, and support for a large number of file formats, has made Screen Catcher thetool of choice for both professionals and casual users.

Screen Catcher is available for US$25. You can find more information at the St. Clair Software Web site.
