Screen Catcher Receives MouseWorks Compatibility

· by Kyle D\'Addario · News

St. Clair Software has updated their popular and powerful screen image utility, Screen Catcher, to version 2.3.3. Screen Catcher allows users to take complete pictures of any window on a screen with its "auto scroll" function, and the new version adds compatibility with Kensington MouseWorks 5.6. According to St. Clair Software:

St. Clair Software announced today that version 2.3.3 of their popular screen snapshot utility, Screen Catcher, has been released.

While a recent revision of Screen Catcher delivered improved compatibility with Kensington MouseWorks 5.6, it introduced problems for users of earlier versions of MouseWorks. Screen Catcher 2.3.3 corrects those problems, and has been tested successfully with both current and past versions of Kensingtonis software.

Recently given a perfect "5 mouse" rating by MacUser UK, Screen Catcher is a scriptable screen capture utility that includes a unique Catch-All feature which auto-scrolls windows to capture entire documents. This capability, combined with flexible scaling, color palette control, and support for a large number of file formats, has made Screen control, and support for a large number of file formats, has made Screen Catcher the tool of choice for both professionals and casual users.

Screen Catcher is available for US$25. You can find more information at the St. Clair Software Web site.
