SearchWare Solutions has announced the upcoming release of Print Window 3.0. Print Window is a Mac OS X printing utility designed to allow users to print file lists directly from the finder. The latest version features an advanced version for expanded options and speed enhancements. According to SearchWare Solutions:
SearchWare Solutions is proud to announce Print Window 3.0, a forthcoming major upgrade to the popular file-listing generation utility for Mac OS X. The new version includes several new features as well as a near total rewrite of the internal print engine code.
Also new to Version 3.0 is the availability of two different versions of Print Window from within the same application. Print Window Standard is freeware and contains many features that make it easy to generate simply file listings from directly within the Mac OS X Finder.
Some of the major new features of Print Window Standard are:
- The ability to sort file listings according to a variety of criteria
- The ability to change font and size of text in file listings
- A completely new print engine that is slightly faster and makes it much easier to add new features or modify existing ones in the future
