Searchlight Finds Networked Documents

· by · News

Searchlight, released Wednesday, is a new application that enables Spotlight searches across your network. It uses RSS to track documents that change, a web-based interface, and can save searches that you perform on a regular basis. The application requires Mac OS X 10.4.4, but any computer on your network can search a Searchlight-enabled Mac through a Web browser. Searchlight is available for download at the Searchlight Web site, and is priced at US$29.90.

Searchlight is a Universal Binary application.
