Searchlight Offers Remote Mac Search Support

Gravity Applications announced the immediate availability of Searchlight 1.0 on Thursday. Searchlight is an application that lets users remotely search the contents of their Mac from another computer or iPhone.

Users can search for files with a Web-based interface, access files, preview files with Quick Look, and more. It also sports an interface designed for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Searchlight requires Mac OS X 10.5.3 or Mac OS X Server 10.5.3 or higher. It is priced at US$99 and is available at the Gravity Applications Web site.
