Second Microsoft Ad with Gates & Seinfeld: The Family

· by · News

Microsoft has published its second in a series of ads designed to promote, well, no one knows yet. Itis called "The Family."

The ad is available officially at Microsoftis Website and is also available on YouTube.

(Visit the Microsoft link above to play.)

In the ad, Bill, who has a giant "moon house hovering over Seattle like a mother ship", and Jerry, "who has so many cars he gets caught in his own traffic" are just temporary members of The Family. They talk about connecting with real people, have odd discussions, gross out the daughter, and, after theyire kicked out, wonder whatis next in computing.

There was generally negative reaction to the first Gates and Seinfeld ad, but Microsoft advised that the first one was just a warm up. With this ad, Microsoft hits its stride. So to speak.
