Secret Folder Gets OS X Support

· by Mike Washlesky · News

Apimac has released a full new version of Secret Folder, bringing it to version 2.0. Secret Folder is a file concealer designed to prevent unauthorized users from finding and viewing certain files. The latest version adds OS X support and drag and drop functionality. According to Apimac:

We are pleased to announce that after about a month of beta testing, today we have released Apimac Secret Folder 2.0 for both Mac OS X and Mac OS Classic, the latest version of our shareware application that lets you conceal a folder and its contents. Apimac Secret Folder provides you with an easy and fast way to protect documents and avoid them being seen, modified, or erased by other users (either on a network or uninvited!). The application is really simple to use and can be protected with a password for extra security.

The new version adds an entirely new support for Mac OS X. Other improvements include drag and drop features and a revamped user interface for display information about a selected folder.

You can find more information about the latest version of Secret Folder at the Apimac Web site. Secret Folder 2.0 is available for US$14.99.
