Send Your Mac (And You) To MacCamp In Portland

· by · News

The Hillsboro Argus mentioned a Mac training event in Portland that we found interesting. Itis called MacCamp, is conducted by the Portland MUG, and is scheduled from April 18-20. The event takes place at he Silver Falls State Park, and costs US$165, which includes lodging, meals, and classes. From the Argus:

Open to the public, attendees choose from six classes: including learning to shoot video to tell a story, digital movie making with iMovie3, organizing family history and genealogy research with Reunion 8, learning how to build a Web site, creating professional presentations with Appleis newest software "Keynote," and managing a small business/general accounting using MYOB.

Twelve guests will stay in each lodge, two guests per room.

The paper also says that the event is open to the public, and not just Portland MUG members. Note that you have to bring your own Mac. You can read the original article from the Hillsboro Argusis Web site.

You can find direct information on MacCamp at the PMUGis Web site.
