There are lots of great articles, and some really bad ones, on the Internet. Though we link to all of them at MacOS News Around The Web, some of them deserve special mention here. Most of what we will mention within these pages will be among the best, but on occasion we will talk about articles that are so bad or so wrong we just have to say something. Consider them mini-editorials on our part about things we think you might also be interested in.

Best [12:00 PM] Mac Night Owl - Ready for Mac OS X?
Ready? Are you asking if I am ready for OS X? Double-heck, yeah! WIth the release of Beta seemingly less than two weeks away, it is time to really start thinking about whether you can or can not handle the new OS. This article throws up some warning lights about the new OS...nothing to scare anybody, but some sound words of wisdom. Our favorite quote from the article:

You look forward with great anticipation to a more robust Mac computing experience, but itis best to test the public beta on a Mac you are not using to run the company or doing duty as a production workstation.

Oh, yeah. Iim going to install it anyway. Reviewer - Kyle DiAddario

Best [12:00 PM] PC World - Coolness Cubed: Appleis Radical New Mac
The full-on, official G4 Cube reviews are starting to roll out as everybodyis favorite tissue box sized computer is making its way onto peopleis desks. One interesting place to find a review of the Cube, and a surprisingly flattering one considering the source, is PC World. While giving no benchmarks, this article gives Mac users a peak into the mind of a PC users stumbling across the Cube for the first time. Interesting stuff. Our favorite quote from the article:

Cube is actually rather unobtrusive--not just because it takes up so little space (the footprint is 7.7 by 7.7 inches) but also because itis silent in operation, except for the sound of the hard drive spinning. (By comparison, my PC roars like a blast furnace.)

You know, I STILL want one. Reviewer - Kyle DiAddario
