Server Up And Running, Sir!

Intelli Innovations has updated their server monitoring and warning utility, Server Sentinel, to version 2.0.3. Server Sentinel monitors a server for downtime causing problems, and is able to automatically notify a user if such problems are identified. According to Intelli Innovations:

Intelli Innovations is pleased to announce Server Sentinel 2.0.3, an update to our server management and downtime notification software. This update includes the following enhancements:

  • Enhanced POP3 and IMAP server checking - now quits properly to avoid server log errors.
  • Fixed glitch where clicking the menu bar could dismiss the front most dialog box.
  • Remove port 0 from the Internet port database - port 0 shouldnit be used for any server.
  • Added several requested adjustments requested by registered users.

Server Sentinel 2 is a powerful server monitoring utility for your Mac. Sentinel will check your servers at specified intervals, and then run events if a server check fails like e-mailing or paging you, running AppleScripts, opening applications locally or over networks, resetting crashed computers, and much more.
