ShareTool 1.2.2 Adds Remote Printing Support August 12th, 2008 at 3:00 PM - News by Jeff Gamet Yazsoft has acquired ShareTool from Banes Software, and released its own update for the remote Bonjour access application on Wednesday. ShareTool 1.2.2 added the ability to use remote printers and also gained a redesigned user interface. The update also added Sparkle support for future updates, a new Remote Login detection procedure, improved the built-in Help and user manual, and more. ShareTool lets users access Bonjour-based services on their local network through the Internet. It automatically configures for routers that supports NAT-PMP or UPnP, supports any Bonjour service that operates over TCP/IP, displays remote services automatically in the Finder, iTunes and other applications, supports SSH and VPN, and transmits all data with encryption. ShareTool 1.2.2 is priced at US$20 and is available for download at the Yazsoft Web site.
