Shinza.com announced Wednesday a resonating earphone speaker system for the Apple iPod.

The Resonator Earphone Speaker System amplifies the sound from the earphones, functioning as a portable and light-weight speaker.

The Resonator allows iPod owners to let friends listen to the current track by inserting earbud earphones into the device. It then amplifies the sound from the earphones, functioning as a portable and light-weight speaker. The speaker weighs 1.8 ounces.

The Resonator retails for US$29.95 and is available only from the companyis Web site.
