Sig Software Releases Carbon Development Tool

Sig Software has released MADE 1.7.0, an application development tool for software programs designing in OS Xis new Carbon environment. Macintosh Application Development Essentials (MADE) provides the basic building blocks for Carbon compliant applications. According to Sig Software:

Sig Software is proud to announce the release of MADE 1.7.0, which is now aimed directly at developers working with Appleis new Carbon API.

Macintosh Application Development Essentials (MADE for short) is a tiny package of C/C++ code which provides all the lowest-level needs for a Macintosh application. It is used extensively at Sig Software for our own programs, including Drop Drawers, Email Effects and NameCleaner.

Version 1.7.0 adds Classic/Carbon glue code to help you build for both APIs from a single source code base, support for Appearance Manager Theme Change events and memory leak testing.

MADE is available for US$20. You can find more information at the Sig Software web site.
