Sig Software Updates DropDrawers

Sig Software has updated their interface enhancement utility, Drop Drawers, to version 1.5.4. Drop Drawers allows users to place a series of pop-up "drawers" around their screen containing items such as applications, files, text clippings, movies, and just about anything else you can think of. Version 1.5.4 is Carbonized for full compatibility with OS X. According to Sig Software:

Sig Software is proud to announce the release of Drop Drawers X 1.5.4, a native Carbon application for OS X.

Drop Drawers provides floating drawers to store text, URLs, aliases, scripts, pictures, sounds, movies and anything else. Information in drawers can be worked with - for example, styled text can be edited, applications and folders can be dragged onto, URLs can be opened, scripts can accept parameters, pictures can be viewed and movies can be played.

A maintenance update for OS X 10.0, Drop Drawers X 1.5.4 reimplements key shortcuts for OS X, fixes the dancing window problem and clears up some other minor OS X issues.

Drop Drawers 1.5.3 is also available for Mac OS 7/8/9 and the two versions will continue to be developed in parallel.

Drop Drawers is available for US$15. You can find more information at the Sig Software Web site.
