· by Mike Washlesky · News

SilverNetworks has released an update for Spy, bringing it to version 1.1.1. Spy is a remote screen viewing utility designed for eye-dropping in on what a person is doing or viewing on a Mac. The update features performance enhancements including a high port window option and bug fixes. According to SilverNetworks:

SilverNetworks today released a significant update to itis remote screen capture tool, Spy.

Spy allows you to run a small server on your Mac, that when accessed by any normal Web browser, allows people to see your screen, as well as information about your Macintosh. But it doesnit stop there - they can look at a normal static image, or they can look at your screen, live, in real-time!

Spy v1.1.1 fixes several bugs including the rubbish text in External IP window.

It also adds a high port option for External IP window, adds more internal error handling, improves logging (now logs actions such as Start Server, Listed on Tracker, etc.), interface improvements, and more.

You can find more information about the Spy update at the SilverNetworks Web site. Spy 1.1.1 is available as freeware.
