Simon Maintenance Update Released From Dejal Systems

Dejal Systems has released an update for Simon, bringing it to version 1.1. Simon is a site monitoring app designed for checking the status of Web and FTP sites. The update features a few minor bug fixes. According to Dejal Systems:

Dejal Systems today announced the immediate availability of Dejal Simon 1.1 , the essential site monitoring tool for Mac OS X.

It checks sites for changes or failures, and notifies you via e-mail, sound, speech, or other means. You can use it to track updated sites, and to alert you when an important site goes down or recovers. Developed in Cocoa, it is a native Mac OS X application with an intuitive and attractive Aqua interface.

Here are the changes in this release:

  • Fixed a rare issue where certain valid serial numbers could be rejected as invalid. Only relevant for customers who license Simon when using version 1.1
  • Fixed some text in the French localization of the preference panes

You can find more information about the Simon update at the Dejal Systems Web site. Simon is free for registered users, while the full version is available starting at US$29.95..
